The Public Events Manager (PEM) at Threes Brewing is a key member of the full-time staff, focused on executing events that drive tangible impact to the business and memorable experiences for our patrons. The PEM reports directly to the Events Director and works as the primary point of contact during all phases of the process once a public event idea graduates from the concept to the execution phase. This multi-faceted role requires an abundance of administrative and financial-related duties, alongside persistent creativity.  

The PEM should be amply prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a representative of the company, the PEM works not only with Threes Brewing staff and on-site partners but with external content providers, project managers, breweries, restaurants and other venues. The sheer breadth of the public events departmental directive requires meticulous organizational skills, stellar communication and a ton of enthusiasm.

General Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Manage and execute the lifecycle of public events, from coordination to execution to post-mortem

  • Assist in defining and building the aesthetics for each program at Threes’ spaces and offsite

  • Research and recommend potential events in-line with the larger strategic framework

  • Take lead from events director to maximize revenue per rent in tandem with the private events team

  • Establish clear communication and collaboration leading up to and during public events; Develop “run of show” documents for each public event and brief floor team on specifics

  • Provide marketing team with all relevant information to guarantee effective promotion and attendance

  • Verify that all events are updated with details in the master calendar and company intranet

  • Attend events in order to cultivate relationships, support staff, and log notes with event and service details for the purpose of fine-tuning Threes’ processes and event quality

  • Work with outside vendors for services & materials that specific events may require

  • Create and maintain feedback loop to ensure learning propagates improvements to programs and process

  • Help produce events that champion Threes Brewing’s commitment to specific social causes

  • Develop memorable experiences for Threes’ fanbase


Event Types & Goals:

Music Performances:

  • Manage music program to host high-quality artists with support from external booker

  • Liaise with artists to procure promotional materials, set expectations and define program

  • Prep sound engineers and manager for each lineup


Other Performances & Meetups

  • Create and oversee interesting non-music programs for guests

  • Existing examples: comedy, trivia, readings, screenings, and meetups

  • Liaise with hosts and creators to procure promotional materials, set expectations and define program



  • Take existing occasions or holidays and turn each into a program that enfolds regular service

  • Existing examples: Fat Tuesday, Record Store Day, Pride & Beer Releases


Big Events:

  • Manage and expand the success of those large events already in the repertoire and cultivate new ones

  • Existing examples: Can Jam, Saison Day, Crawfish Boil, Art Party & Holiday Market


Beer Festival:

  • Work with the senior management team and external consultant to build the first annual beer festival, helping to establish the program, goals and content needs

  • Be immersed in details execution



  • Help facilitate brewery events with our peers across the country

  • Coordinate logistics cross-departmentally and manage brewery event calendar

  • MicroSoft Office skills a must; Adobe suite capabilities preferred
